Artist Note
Every morning, this cattleman would appear on the small hill visible from the hostel where I was staying in the Nilgiris. Only after watching him become part of the landscape did I feel compelled to make this photograph. Part of “The Gallery called Home-2025 Exhibition”, a collection of photographs exploring memory, belonging, and the places we return to through time.
