Every photograph is professionally printed using archival pigment inks on carefully selected fine art papers. I choose each paper to best complement the photograph’s tonal range, texture, and character.
Archival Printing
Archival printing combines pigment-based inks with archival-quality papers to create prints designed for long-term preservation. Under normal display conditions and with proper care, archival prints retain their colour, contrast, and detail for decades with minimal fading.
Archival Pigment Inks
Unlike conventional dye-based inks, archival pigment inks contain microscopic pigment particles that offer greater colour stability and resistance to fading. The result is rich tonal depth, accurate colour reproduction, and exceptional longevity.
Fine Art Papers
Different photographs respond differently to paper. Rather than printing every image on a single stock, papers are selected individually to suit each photograph.
100% Cotton Acid-Free Fine Art Paper
Used for Open Edition Prints, Greeting/Keepsake Cards, and Postcards
Made entirely from cotton fibres, this paper offers a soft matte finish, natural white tones, and a subtle surface texture that reproduces fine detail with remarkable depth. Its acid-free composition ensures excellent long-term stability.
Hahnemühle Fine Art Paper
Used for selected Limited Edition Prints
Established in Germany in 1584, Hahnemühle is one of the world’s oldest and most respected manufacturers of fine art papers. Their archival cotton papers are widely used by photographers, artists, museums, and galleries for their exceptional quality, texture, and permanence.
Epson Enhanced Matte
Used for selected Limited Edition Prints
A professional archival matte paper with a smooth surface and bright white base. It offers excellent detail, deep blacks, and vibrant colour while maintaining a refined, non-reflective finish.
Acid-Free Paper
Acid-free papers are manufactured to resist yellowing and deterioration over time. This helps preserve both the appearance and structural integrity of the print for generations.
Framing
Each print includes a white border for handling and framing. Border widths vary according to print size. All prints are supplied unframed.
